2019 Bow Hunt Report
After a spring and summer of good moisture the anticipation of finding some good quality deer was high. Our summer scouting turned up some mature bucks that we would hunt throughout the bow and rifle season.
Our first group of bowhunters consisted of Carl Rossi, Al Ciprano, John D’Angelo and Fred Magargal. It was a week packed with opportunity with everyone getting at least one shot. When it all finished up, Carl, Al and John all harvested bucks including a 192” giant for John, his second 190” plus buck with us.
Our second group of bowhunters included JD Dumas, Elliott Nipper, Clint Hill and Juan Cerrillo. Again everyone had shot opportunities for this group. For the second time ever we had three bucks harvested with a bow on the same day. The three friends, JD, Elliott and Clint all took their first mule deer with a bow all on the same day, pretty amazing!
